Where to Stay in Rokiškis as a Group
Finding a bed in Rokiškis is easy if you are travelling alone. For a group it is harder. When a family reunion, a group of friends or a work team arrives, it suddenly turns out you need not one room but space for everyone.

There are several guest houses in town: Saldus sapnas on Gabijos street, Nakvynė Rokiškyje, Leokordis on Perkūno street, Everena, Miesčionių svečių kambariai and others.
This works well when the group is small and everyone wants their own room. Rooms usually sleep 2, 3 or 4, sometimes with a shared kitchen and living room. Saldus sapnas, for example, takes about ten people at a time and has a shared space with a fireplace and a cafe on the ground floor.

Worth knowing: rooms are often sold separately, so a whole group can end up spread across different floors or even different buildings. Not every place has a shared space.
Lakeside country houses
The Rokiškis district has plenty of country houses on Lake Sartai and others: Sartakampis, Žiogelis and many more. Most have a sauna, a hot tub, space for a celebration and beds.
A good choice for a group that wants nature, a lake and a sauna, and does not mind being outside town. Ideal for a summer break, a celebration with an overnight stay, or a team trip with outdoor activities.

What to bear in mind
These places are outside town, often 15-30 km from Rokiškis. If your plans include the town’s sights, the manor, the museum or events, you will be driving back and forth each time. A lake is lovely for resting, but awkward if the town itself is the point.
A whole house in the old town
The third option is to rent an entire house in town. There are not many such offers in Rokiškis, and we are one of them.
We rent out a whole house on Respublikos street in the old town: a hall seating up to 10 around the table, a fully equipped kitchen and two bedrooms sleeping seven. The whole group in one place, nobody else around, five minutes on foot from Independence Square.

What to bear in mind
This is a whole-property let for one group, not rooms sold individually, so it works when you are all travelling together. For a party of more than seven staying the night there will not be enough beds, though the hall takes up to ten during the day.
How to choose
In short: if nature and a sauna matter most, choose a lakeside house. If everyone wants a separate room and you are not planning to spend the time together, a guest house will do. If you want to be together and in the town at the same time, a whole house in the old town is the best option.
And the most important thing about timing: on event weekends and through the summer, beds in Rokiškis go early, so a group should book well ahead.
