Website creation / Senamiesčio erdvė
The character of a place.
A clear path for its guests.
How the atmosphere of a house in Rokiškis old town carries through to a website that brings together the venue, booking and useful information for guests.
Senamiesčio erdvė
Rokiškis, Lithuania
Brand identity and design
Custom functionality
LT and EN content

Photographs of the actual venue introduce its atmosphere before guests arrive.
01
Visual direction
A website that feels
like the place itself.
The project began with a bespoke logo, brand identity and website design. Dark backgrounds, warm gold accents and expressive headings echo the timber walls, vintage furniture and intimate lighting. Generous interior photographs sit alongside clearly separated sections of practical information.
The homepage introduces the hall, kitchen and bedrooms in sequence. Capacity, equipment, sleeping arrangements and pricing appear alongside the relevant content, helping visitors understand what hiring the whole house includes. A custom photo and video gallery system offers a closer look, with photographs opening in an enlarged viewer.
02
The booking journey
From a first impression
to choosing a date.
The booking system was specifically adapted to the way this venue is hired. Its form sits near the top of the homepage, while navigation and content links lead back to the same booking section. Visitors can start planning their stay without searching for a separate page.
The presentation is supported by practical details about check-in, access, parking and use of the venue. The contact page includes a purpose-built enquiry form, telephone and email links, and a location map.
01
Dates and guests
Arrival, departure and guest count are available in the first screen.
02
Clear information
Visitors can review the rental price, cleaning charge and payment arrangements before booking.
03
Answers close by
Expandable FAQs, arrival information and contact details help guests prepare for their stay.
03
Two languages
One house.
Two languages for guests.
English content was written afresh for English-speaking visitors, rather than produced as a direct translation of the Lithuanian pages. Both versions are connected through a language switcher. Linked pages, menus, legal links and Rokiškis guide categories present content in the selected language while retaining the same visual identity.
LT
Lietuviškai
Venue information, practical details and a Rokiškis guide for Lithuanian-speaking guests.
EN
In English
Independently rewritten pages and guide articles for English-speaking visitors.
04
Content for guests
The stay extends
beyond the front door.
The work included both an article publishing system and written guides to Rokiškis in Lithuanian and English. The guide has its own structure, organised into places to visit, things to do, and festivals and events. Article cards on the homepage and links in the footer make the guide accessible from different parts of the website.
The owner can publish new articles, cover events in Rokiškis and add local recommendations without commissioning a new page layout each time. Guests can explore both the house and its surroundings in one place.

05
Search and content clarity
Prepared for discovery.
Written for people.
The project included search engine optimisation (SEO) and optimisation for AI search. This work sits alongside a clear explanation of the offer: what guests can hire, where the venue is, who it suits and what there is to do around Rokiškis.
Venue details, practical answers and local articles form a connected body of content in both languages. It covers the hire itself as well as the questions people ask when planning a visit or a celebration.
Behind the pages
Considered for guests.
Manageable for the owner.
Editable content
Pages composed with WordPress blocks allow text and images to be updated as individual sections.
Partner management
A dedicated partner system lets the owner add event service providers and update their information. Partner listings retain the same presentation as the rest of the website.
Enquiries and spam protection
A purpose-built enquiry form is supported by an anti-spam system, keeping the contact process straightforward for visitors while helping filter unwanted submissions.
Shared site details
The footer reads its logo, contact information, company details and opening hours from theme settings. Sections for missing information are hidden.
A guide that can grow
Guide categories and articles are managed separately from page design. The footer selects guide links for the current language.
